Project description:

This vacation work project aims to streamline and optimize the operations of our research lab by implementing effective organizational systems. The focus will be on developing an inventory management system to track equipment, tools, and consumables, ensuring the availability of necessary materials while reducing waste. Additionally, the project will explore the implementation of useful systems for task management, scheduling, and data logging to improve workflow efficiency and communication within the lab. This will also include the usage practices of the simulation machine owned by the group.

Key tasks will include categorizing and labeling equipment, creating a digital inventory database, and proposing systems for equipment maintenance and usage tracking. The project will also look at ways to optimise storage space and implement user-friendly systems for quick access to tools and resources.
