Project description:

MEC4126F is a heavily practical embedded systems course for final year MMT students. Typically the weekly practicals have relied on a line following robot car kit and various electronic components. This project will involve the refinement and planning of the practicals for 2025 where the class size is estimated to be approximately 80 students. This will involve:

• Revision and optimisation of the exisiting practicals
• Planning and testing of proposed alternative practicals
• Investigation into alignment with MEC4127F
• Stock take and organisation of electronic components and robot kits
• Creation and maintenance of the 2025 MEC4126F Amathuba site

The ideal candidate will have strong programming and embedded systems abilities and have completed MEC4126F in 2023/2024.
